Barely 12 days to the opening game of the Championship of African Nations 2023, the first-choice goalkeeper of Ghana Abdullahi Idrissu has left camp.
The Black Galaxies of Ghana denied Nigeria’s Super Eagles team B the opportunity of playing in the biennial competition.
According to the update from the team camp in Egypt, Idrissu has secured a move to the Tanzania premier league club Azam FC.
With the development, idrissu has become ineligible to take part in the competition as it meant players plying their trade in the home league.
He was in goal for Ghana on Saturday in their friendly game against Al Ahly of Egypt.
