Ahead of the crucial match day 2 of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, the Warriors of Zimbabwe star midfielder Marshall Munetsi has highlighted what they must do to get a positive result against Nigeria.
Zimbabwe will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the second game of the qualifier on Sunday to get maximum points.
However, the France-based player stated that they must be confident and focused to stop the Nigerian big stars.
“Obviously the team has big-name players but even then if they don’t have time to recover and all the travels it might be difficult for them to adjust.
We just need to be confident and have a good game plan for us to get maximum points”, he told Herald
Both Nigeria and Zimbabwe are on the same point and will be eyeing their first win of the world cup qualifier
