Ahead of the announcement of the new host for the 2025 African Cup of Nations, the African soccer governing has announced the new dates for visitations of the countries that have shown interest in hosting the competition.
Nigeria who last hosted the competition in 2000 when they co-hosted with Ghana is among the countries that have shown interest and they are also co-hosting with Benin Republic.
The CAF inspection team announced March 31 – April 2nd as the date they visit Nigeria and Benin Republic.
Zambia is the first country that will host the CAF inspection team and it will come up on March 20- 22 and Morocco on March 24- 26 while Algeria will host the team on March 27-29, 2023.
CAF is expected to announce the host country during its congress slated for Cotonou in July.
