Ahead of the kickoff of the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have landed in Egypt, the venue of the competition.
The team under coach Ladan Bosso has been in training for the past few months before moving to Morocco on a tour.
They engaged in a series of friendly games in Egypt and defeated Kwakab in the final warm-up match.
The technical crew and 20 selected players touched down at the Cairo International Airport
around 5:30 pm local time.
The team is lodged at the Jewel Sports City & Aqua Resorts, as they set to confront the Young Teranga Lions of Senegal in the opening group game.
