The manager of the Dutch Eredivisie giant Ajax Amsterdam Jon Heitinga has showered an encomium on Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey.
After sitting out a couple of games, the Nigeria international a sensational return to the team last weekend and he was named man of the match in the club’s 1-0 win over NEC.
Former Dutch International praised the Nigeria star and his willingness to improve every day.
“Calvin is very eager to learn. His attitude is commendable and he wants to improve every day”, he said.
