Former Dolphins and Enyimba striker Victor Ezeji has confirmed his invitation from the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to join other African legends in Cairo at the draw ceremony of the CAF Interclub quarter-final
In a letter addressed to the NPFL legend signed by Khaleed Nasser – the Head of competitions at CAF, Ezeji is expected to join other invited African club legends at the event on 5th April
Victor Ezeji had an extraordinary career playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League for 20 years, he made his debut for the defunct Sharks of Port Harcourt in 1996 after which he played for Eagle Cement, defunct Dolphins FC, Enyimba, Sunshine, Heartland, and also had a stint with Club Africain in Tunisia in 2007
The Accounting graduate from the University of Port Harcourt who successfully combined education with his football career is the most decorated player in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) history.
He is also one of the most successful and longest-playing players in the Nigeria Football League. He won two Africa Champions League with Enyimba football club, Aba, and represented Nigeria on three occasions scoring twice.
