The technical adviser of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has maintained that they’ve prepared for everything including the venue of the game.
The Pride of Rivers will confront ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Coast on Sunday at their adopted home in Uyo after their original home in Port-Harcourt failed to get approval from CAF.
While speaking ahead of the match, Eguma said they are used to playing at the Goodwill Akpabio stadium and is confident that Akwa Ibom people will support Rivers United.
“We’ve prepared for everything including the venue, Akwa Ibom is Nigeria inasmuch the people of Akwa will come out and support us.
We are conversant with the Akwa Ibom pitch, we’ve played there sometime and get some good results”, he said.
