Enyimba International forward Chijioke Mbaoma is banking on home fans’ support to turn the table against the Libyan side Ahli Benghazi.
The People’s Elephant suffered a narrow 4-3 loss to Ahli Benghazi and Mbaoma was among the goal scorer in the encounter.
The skilful attacker urged his teammates to make count on the fan’s support when they host the second leg on Sunday.
“We are not satisfied, but we have to be satisfied with ourselves and look forward to the next step,” Mbaoma said.
“They played and won at home. Now is the time for us to play with our fans and show them what we can do too”, he said.
Enyimba must produce an improved performance and result in the second leg to keep their CAF Champions League campaign alive.
