After a narrow win in Cape Coast, the head coach of Medeama SC Evans Adotey has confirmed that they will complete the job in Nigeria.
Playing at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, the Ghana champions defeated Nigeria’s representative Remo Stars by a lone goal.
The coach agreed that Remo Stars players were fitter and played attacking football throughout the encounter.
“Remo Stars were fitter than us; we expected them to defend and hit with the counter-attack but they attacked and attacked”
“We played against a very disciplined team. We did our best and we hope to complete the job in Nigeria,” he stated.
The second leg game is fixed this weekend at the Remo Stars stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.
