Middlesbrough promotion ambition suffered a huge setback on Saturday afternoon as they lost 4-2 to Huddersfield Town.
Boro under former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has been excellent this season with Nigerian-eligible forward Chuba Akpom producing an amazing performance.
It was Forss that put Boro ahead in the 43rd minute before the horror second-half show which saw Huddersfield scoring 4 goals through Josh Ruffels, Koroma, and Mattew Pearson’s brace.
Akpom reduced the deficit in the 74th minute but it was too late as the game ended 4-2 in favor of the host.
Middlesbrough remained in the 3rd position on the log with 67 points from 39 matches, and Akpom remained the top scorer with 25 goals.
