The Nigeria Football Federation NFF has confirmed the venues of matches for the Round of 64 of the Federation Cup.
In a letter addressed to the State Football Association Secretaries and signed by the Ruth David, NFF director of Competitions on behalf of the General Secretary on Thursday, NPFL Champions Rivers United will battle Enyimba FC in Uyo while the 2023 Oyo State Federation Cup Champion Shooting Stars Fc will take on debutant Adamimogo FC from Ondo State in Lagos
The round of 64 matches of the oldest club competion in Nigeria will start on April 26th across the designated centers.
In another development, the Nigeria National League has slightly shifted the resumption date of the second stanza of the 2022/2023 season by three days,this is following the involvement of twenty three of its club drawn in the national football competition.
The second half of the league was scheduled to start Wednesday 26,April 2023 but the draw held Wednesday 19 April,2023 which pitched some of the NNL clubs in the round of 64 has pushed the secretariat of the NNL to make the adjustment.
The resumption of the second half of the league is now fixed For the weekend of Friday 28,Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 of April,2023.
