Four days after dropping into the relegation zone, French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes has decided to sack its manager Antoine Kamboure and replace him with Aristouy Vizcarrondo.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Moses Simon who is one of the key players of the club was in action on Saturday when Nantes suffered a 0-2 home defeat to Strasbourg.
And before Saturday’s match, Nantes lost heavily to Toulouse in the Coupe De France final, a result that never went well with the club management.
When the league game resumes this weekend, Simon and his teammates will surely be playing under a new manager as they continue their quest to survive the drop.
Nantes is presently placed in 17th position on the log with 32 points in 34 matches.
