A few minutes ago.
I have just left the premises of the National Institute for Sports, NIS, inside the National Stadium Complex, Surulere, Lagos.
Along with Chief Sunday Dare, the Federal Minister for Sports, and Dr. Larry Izamoje, Chairman of Brilla Sports FM, Nigeria’s first sports radio station, I was conferred with yet another distinguished Honour – Fellow of the National Institute for Sports, FNIS.
It is one more feather to a bulging cap.
My story has become the stuff of fairytale. Recognitions, awards, honours and rewards; bountiful harvests from the Throne of Grace; totally unsolicited, unearned, physically humbling, spritually uplifting; blessings of priceless wealth.
I am grateful to the Creator of the Universe whose hands are all over me.
I also thank all the divine ‘vessels’ used by the Elements to recognize my little contribution to the world.
