With ten games into the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League season, newly promoted Insurance of Benin has defied all odds to remain the only club that is yet to taste a defeat in the 10weeks old NPFL season, this followed after another point gained away from home when they played out a 1-1 against Enyimba Fc of Aba at the Aba International Stadium on Sunday.
League Top scorer Emeka Obioma opened the scoring for the People’s Elephant before Imade Osarenkhoe equalized for the Benin Arsenal through a well taken free kick, his 7th goal in 10 games.
Bendel Insurance is currently topping the Division A of the NPFL Abridged season with 24points, they’ve scored 14goals and a relatively unknown name until now, Osarenkhoe Imade has been responsible for 50% of their total goals in the league. Brace Radio analyst AbdulKareem Abdulhamid caught up with the player to discuss about his football career, Imade explains how Super Eagles and Napoli hit-man Victor osimhen has been his role model since 2015 and also reveals his plans for Bendel Insurance in the NPFL

“….. I drew my motivation from him, how he started from the streets of Lagos to become the king of Napoles“
He also said the reason behind taking Osimhen as a role model is that they share similar traits as footballers.
The Bendel Insurance also shared that his goal for the season is to hit double figures for goals scored.
