The chief coach of the Nigeria Premier Football League club Gombe United Bashir Saleh has expressed his excitement with the draw they secured against Nasarawa United.
Gombe United held host Nasarawa United to a 1-1 draw in the match day 14 game played at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
While speaking after the game Saleh said the game was difficult in the first half but they were able to get a good result in the second half.
He further confirmed that they focusing a win in their next match against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
” We came for a win but it ended in a draw and we are okay with it.
It was difficult in the first half but when we got to the dressing room we spoke to the boys and when we resumed for the second half the game changed.
Our next game is against Shooting Stars in Ibadan and we are going there for a win.
We prepared to win our two consecutive away matches, though we played a draw here is not bad but we going for a win against 3SC”, he said.
