With the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League already in the second stanza, the Interim Management Committee( IMC) has started its preparations for the proposed Super 6.
The newly appointed league body made it clear from the beginning of the season that there will be a Super 6 to determine the winner of the league and the other teams that will represent the country in the continent.
According to the latest from the committee, MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja and Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos are the two proposed venues for the Super 6 competition.
The competition will come up immediately after the regular league as the time is already against the country to present its continental representatives to CAF.
Rivers United who is still competing in the Confederation Cup is the defending champions of the league having emerged as the champions last season.
