In continuation of the 2023 La-Liga/NPFL U-15 Promise League taking place at Remo Stadium Complex, Ikenne, Ogun state, Rangers International F.C U-15 side was pegged back by its El-Kanemi U-15 side who forced the Enugu side to a 2-2 draw.
The coach Izuchukwu Okoronkwo’s tutored side dominated proceedings with displays that drew applause from fans that came to catch a glimpse of the competition put together by the Nigeria Premier Football League to encourage teams in the top flight the advantage of development football.
Jacob Peter and Godwin Usoro-Imeh shot the young ‘Flying Antelopes into the lead with sublime goals midway into the first half and early in the second half only to surrender the precious lead late into the game to earn its first point in the competition.
The team was consoled with the Most-Valuable-Player of the match as Godwin Usoro Imeh took home the precious award to join teammate, Okpara Amarachi who also won the M.V.P award in the first match they lost by a lone goal against last year’s losing finalist, 3SC.
Rangers’ next match will be against Gombe United U-15 side which will happen on Friday, 21st April 2023.
