It was another impressive performance from our U-15 side, as the Young Warriors hammered their Gombe United counterparts 2-0 in the ongoing 2023 NPFL/Laliga U-15 Promise Youth League, holding at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
The first half of the Group D game had ended nil all but the Shooting Stars cadets got the best of their oppoonents in the second half scorong two goals.
Jimoh Basit scored his second goal of the competition in as many matches, firing home the first goal in the 49th minute before Muhammed Sanni put icing on the cake with the second goal in the 54th minute.
Having beaten Rangers International 1-0 in their opening fixture, the Oluyole Warriors lads, courtesy of the win over Gombe United, have thus qualified for the final even before their final Group D match against El-Kanemi Warriors.
