Ahead of the match day 16 of the league against Shooting Stars, the head coach of struggling Nasarawa United Bala Arikya has focused on the 3 points from the game.
The Solid Miners are at rock bottom of the table with 3 match days to the end of the regular season.
Arikya replaced Bala Nikyu who resigned from the team just before the start of the second stanza.
“Everyone can attest to the fact that we played better than our host today, we were just unlucky. It’s painful that we lost.
We now focus on our next game at home against the visiting Shooting Stars, where we hope to get the maximum points and continue our fight against the drop”, he said.
Nasarawa United who are still pushing to move out of the red zone in Group ‘A’ will host Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan in their next game on Sunday, 29th April 2023.
