Former skipper of the former Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enugu Rangers Tope Olusesi has bid the club farewell.
Olusesi who is one of the longest-serving players of the club was stripped of his captaincy duties a few days ago.
He announced his departure from the team on Sunday and he further appreciate the club for its support.
” it was so difficult for me to compose this message because it hurt me so much parting ways with team and family like Enugu Rangers that has given so much love and platform.
In life, changes are always constant but it won’t change the never say die blood running in my veins because it has become part of my life
I want to say a big thank you to the government of the state, coaching crew, players and supporters of the Enugu Rangers
It was a great pleasure putting on the colour of this great team and having the opportunity to have led one of the greatest teams in the whole of Africa.
I’m truly grateful and blessed, I wish the team well in their endeavour”, he said.
Olusesi was one of the players that won the league with the Rangers in 2016 and also the federation cup in 2017.
