The newly appointed coach of Rangers International of Enugu Fidelis Ilechukwu has declared the club readiness to take the new season by storm.
The former MFM FC of Lagos boss joined the Flying Antelope this summer after his contract with Plateau United expired.
Despite playing in the final of the Federation Cup last season, the Flying Antelope has had an average season in the league.
Barely 2 weeks before their opening league match, the club has recruited many players to beef up the squad for the new season.
“With what I have seen in the players this past few days that we have been in close camp in Awka, I can say that we are ready for the start of the season.
The level of motivation from management and government of Enugu state, is top notch and we have what it takes to deliver the goods when the season commences”, he told the club media.
Rangers last won the league title in 2016 under coach Imama Amapakabo but since then they’ve been unable to repeat the same feat.
