The coach of the newly promoted side Doma United Akinade Onigbinde have said they failed to hold on to the first-half advantage against Bayelsa United.
The Gombe-based club scored first in the first half but allowed the host Bayelsa United to equalised in the second half.
” The game was very good, actually, we thought maybe we can hold on to that one goal but unfortunately, we can’t yet is still a good game.
We worked more on the defence, and gradually we are working more on goal scoring and we are getting the goals.
The issue is that we allow them to absorb the pressure and we thought we could go on the counter”, he said.
