Members of the Nigerian Olympians Association have reelected the former long-serving captain of Nigeria’s national basketball team D’Tigers, Olumide Oyedeji as the body’s president.
The ex-basketball veteran was reelected after serving a four-year term from 2019-2022 as the President of the Nigeria Olympians Association.
At the Association’s elective congress held in Akure, the Ondo State capital, 1996 Olympics gold medalist Emmanuel Babayaro was also voted the general secretary.
Also elected were Lawrence Iquaibom, First vice-president, and Falilat Ogunkoya, second vice-president, among others.
