Nigeria’s Super Eagles gaffer Jose Peseiro has expressed his excitement following the outstanding performance of the Nigeria duo of Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
Both players currently top the scorer’s chat in the Italian Serie A with Atalanta and Napoli respectively.
Peseiro believes their incredible performance in their clubs will surely improve the Super Eagles team.
” It’s an exceptional moment for Nigerian footballers and knowing that you can count on two strikers like them is something incredible.
I’m telling the truth, knowing that I have two strikers like that makes me feel much better, it put me in a good mood.
At this point, I hope they bring their positivity to the National team”, he told Il Mattino.
Osimhen presently top the table with 13 goals and Lookman is placed 2nd with 11 goals.
