Arsenal youngster Nathan Nwaneri might be on the verge of leaving the club, with Arsenal yet to tie him down on a long-term contract. Manchester City and Chelsea have been rumoured to be interested in the 15-year-old and the Premier League table-toppers need to act fast if they don’t want to lose one of their brightest talents.
The Nigerian-eligible midfielder is one of the most exciting talents in England. He is primarily an attacking midfielder but can play as a second striker or left winger.
Nwaneri became the youngest player ever to feature in the Premier League when he came on as a substitute in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Brentford on September 18, 2022. Though he is yet to feature for the senior team since then, there is no doubt that he is highly rated by the club management.
This season, the 15-year-old has featured 6 times for Arsenal U21s in the Premier League 2 and has registered one assist. He has also featured 8 times for Arsenal U18s in the U18 Premier League scoring 2 goals and assisting 3 times.
