Remo Stars put up another distinctive performance in the match day 2 of the Nigeria Premier Football League on Thursday with another maximum point in far away Gombe
The Sky Blues Boy in the matchday 1 defeated El Kanemi Warrior 2-0 at the Remo Stars stadium in Ikenne.
They played away to Gombe United and proved to be a very difficult match for the team.
The first half of the game was keenly contested with the host having an upper, they almost break the deadlock in the 7th minute by hitting the upright.
Gombe United continue their pressing game and they got a reward for their effort as the centre referee gave them a spot but was kick over the bar by Samaila Bello.
The away side finally seized the control of the game and their efforts paid off in the 88th minute through Andy Okpe who netted the only goal of the game.
