The Ministry of Youth and Sports Development under the guidance of Sunday Dare has appointed 11- an interim management committee for the league.
The ministry asked the Nigeria Football Federation to withdraw the operating license of the League Management Company the body which has been in charge of the league for almost a decade.
The 11-man committee has Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye is the chairman and Olumide Bamiduro is the Secretary.
According to the press release, the interim committee will be in charge of the league until the proper body is in place.
