Super Eagles of Nigeria star Samson Tijani has set his eyes on a good outing with his new club in Austria Wolfsberger.
The former Golden Eaglets midfielder secured a loan move to Wolfsberger on Wednesday from RB Salzburg and is already targeting a good year.
Tijani had a season to forget last season after he spent the whole year in the treatment room due to the injury he sustained during a preseason game.
While speaking on the move, the skilful player said he was happy about the move and confident about getting more playing time.
“I’m glad to have the opportunity to gain match practice at Wolfsberger AC next season and I’d like to work with the team to have a successful year”, he said.
Since moving to Salzburg in 2020, Tijani has played for two clubs: TSV Hartberg and Liefering also in the league on loan.
