After securing a win against Haiti on Friday, Nigeria’s Super Falcons have returned to training for the next game.
The Nigerian side on Friday in Antalya Turkey defeated World Cup debutant Haiti 2-1 courtesy of goals from Esther Okronkwo and Asisat Oshoala.
The team under Randy Waldrum returned to recovery session on Saturday and they are expected to start a full preparation for the New Zealand game on Sunday.
The game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, in Antalya Turkey.
New Zealand is co-hosting the 2023 Women’s World Cup with Australia and competition will take place from July 20, 2023 to August 20, 2023.
