Ahead of the draw for the FIFA U20 World Cup slated for FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles has been placed in Pot 3.
The former champions qualified to represent the continent after they finished in the 3rd position of the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The pots for the draw were released on Thursday afternoon by the football body and landed in pot 3 alongside Uzbekistan, Fiji, Japan, Honduras and Iraq.
Newly crowned champions Senegal landed in Pot 1 with the host Argentina, France, Italy, Korean Republic and England.
