It was a double honour for Nigeria’s Super Falcons attacker Asisat Oshoala on Wednesday evening as she was again voted Woman of the Match against Benfica.
Former Rivers Angels player was the star of the game in Portugal as she bagged a brace and brace of assists to her club FC Barcelona Feminine to an emphatic 0-9 over the host.
Her victory in the voting was confirmed by UEFA late in the evening and Oshoala was extremely excited about the outcome.
The lanky attacker has now scored 3 goals for the Catalan-based club in all competitions this season.
She emerged as the top scorer in the Spanish Iberdrola last season with 20 goals despite her injury worries.
