The Nigerian side has recorded two wins in the last two matches against Niger and Togo securing their place in the semi-final of the tournament.
They played against Burkina Faso in the final group game in Kumasi on Sunday evening and proved too much for the Burkinababes.
Opeyemi Ajakaiye’s brace and Sebastian Flourish’s 87th-minute strike ensured a 100 percent record for the Nigeria team.
The two-time first runners-up at the FIFA World Cup will now confront the Benin Republic in the semi-final of the competition.
