On behalf of the Management, staff, technical crew and players of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, I want to use this medium to express our profound appreciation to our teeming lovers and backers.
Firstly, I want to appreciate our financier, the Oyo State government, under the able leadership of our number one supporter, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.
We are indeed fortunate to have a sport loving governor, whose support and encouragement can not be quantified as the helmsman of the pacesetter state,
Our gratitude also goes to every stakeholder, including the ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, the Oyo State Sports Council, under the leadership of Honourable Gbenga Adewusi Arole, the Oyo State Football Association led by His Royal Highness, Oba James Odeniran.
Likewise, we are grateful to the Ibadan Football Association (IFA), led by Barrister Rotimi Ali, the Oyo State Referees’ Council, the Sports Writer’s Association of Nigeria (SWAN), the organised Supporters Club and our fans cut across the globe.
It has been a year of ups and downs but we give glory to God for seeing us through the 2021/22 season, where we fought hard to survive the drop from the elite league.
As we bid the year 2022 bye, I want to congratulate all of us for making it into the year 2023.
With the 2023 season about to commence, I want to, on behalf of the entire team, solicite for more of your prayers and support, which of course played an important role in helping us survive relegation last season.
On thing is certain, and that is the readiness of your darling team to make you all happy this season.
Our ultimate aim is to give the supportive government and good people of Oyo state, as well as our teeming supporters and fans worldwide something to cheer about at the end of the upcoming season.
Going by our recruitments and our build up to the season, you can be rest assured that the Oluyole Warriors’ are fully ready for the battle and by the grace of God, we will not let you down. That’s our promise
