In a must win game for Croatia today, Albania came from behind to get a draw leaving both teams on the brink of elimination, having just one point from two games for both sides.
The game began with Albania continuing from where they left off against Italy last time, scoring another early goal. With just 11 minutes on the clock, Qazim Laci met a delightful cross from Jasir Asani to head past Dominick Livakovic.
The Croatians were unlucky to get a quick response as the Albanian defence stood tall throughout the remainder of the first half, but they would not be denied as quick fire goals put them 2-1 up in the space of 3 minutes, with Andrej Kramaric finishing from a nice pass and am own goal from Klaus Gjasula.
With Croatia cruising to victory, the Albanians were not going to give up the fight, rallying in the dying minutes of the game. They were rewarded when the culprit Gjasula turned hero to score in the 95th minute of the game, sending the Albanians into wild jubilations.
