Following the expiration of the date for registration, the African soccer governing body has decided to shut down the platform for club registration.
The football body extended the date 3 times to enable all the clubs to register and update their license.
The date lapsed on the 30th of June, 2024 and all those involved in the participation of Champions League and Confederation Cup are expected to have completed their registration.
El-Kanemi Warriors joined Enyimba International in the Confederation Cup and Rangers International and Remo Stars in the Champions League as the club that will represent Nigeria.
The Club Licensing Online Platform ( CLOP) is an electronic tool designed by CAF to oversee the club licensing and stadium inspection process for continental and domestic competitions.
It allows clubs to archive and submit their club Licensing documents virtually for CAF Club Interclub competitions.
Meanwhile, CAF will soon update on all the Clubs that will be engaged for the 2024/25 Champions League and Confederation Cup.
