Nigeria women’s national team, Super Falcons is set to face the Olympics Women’s football event defending Champions Canada in an International friendly game in Spain as part of their preparations for the Olympics.
The friendly game is scheduled for July 17, in Sevilla, Spain where the Nine-time African champions will be having their training camp for 10 days.
Earlier on Wednesday, the head coach of the Super Falcons Randy Waldrum revealed the names of invited players for the football event while the team is expected to depart Nigeria for Spain on Thursday.
Nigeria is making a return to the Olympics after 16 years of absence and will compete in Group C alongside the world champions Spain, Brazil and Japan
