Ahead of match days 5 and 6 of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has released the list of stadia that got its approval to host matches.
According to the latest update from the CAF headquarters in Cairo Egypt, it’s only Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo that was approved for Nigeria
Other stadia like Samuel Ogbemudia, MKO Abiola, etc that used to secure approval before all failed to get it this time.
It means that Nigeria’s Super Eagles final group game in the qualifier will hold at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
The Super Eagles will play away to Sierra Leone in Liberia on match day 5.
