In preparation for the doubleheader 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau has opened their camp officially.
The team head coach Baciro Cande last week announced the list of 25 players largely based abroad for the crucial game against Nigeria.
The Guinean side who is placed second behind Nigeria needs favorable results over both legs to qualify for the competition slated for next year in Ivory Coast.
The team has their first training on Monday morning and they are expected to still train on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the team has been scheduled to arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday as the game is slated for Friday at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja.
They will observe their only training at the match venue on Thursday.
