•SUPER COMPETITION
It was a first-class competition as all teams involved performed extremely well to revive the days of yore when the likes of Abiola Babes, Leventis United, Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Enugu Rangers Int’l, Shooting Stars, Mighty Jets and Sharks among others flexed muscle for honour.
•SUPER ORGANIZATION
The organizers did brilliantly well. Their performance was top-notch. I recommend them to the NFF for this wonderful Football show put together within just days. The crowd speaks volume on this.
•SUPER ATMOSPHERE
It was electric. From the beginning to the end of the competition, there was no dull moment. From the pitch to outside the stadium, you could feel the vibes of football. It even choked the environment. It was simply convulsive.
•SUPER CROWD
The Mobolaji Johnson Arena was filled. It brought back the memory of Stationary Stores versus Julius Berger FC State FA Cup final. People of football gathered to talk, eat, drink and sleep football in Lagos.
•SUPER EXCITEMENT
It was a show of fun as all involved got a dose of football entertainment.
•SUPER RETURN OF FOOTBALL
The sport is fully back. This is evident from the NPFL Super 6 Championship Playoffs. The Naija Super 8 simply continued from where the NPFL Super 6 stopped. Football fans and stakeholders are beginning to embrace the sport again. Remember the days when fans storm the stadium after the close of work to watch a league game.
•SUPER MJ ARENA
The Mobolaji Johnson Arena is fast becoming the stadium for classy competitions. The turf is world-class. Lagos State Government should just try and finish the outer part of the stadium environment.
•SUPER FINAL
Kudos should go to Sporting Lagos and Remo Stars two privately owned clubs for giving football fans something to cheer about. The final reminds all of the good old days of the FA Cup.
Thumbs-up Lagos fans. You’re truly the energy and soul of Nigerian football.
Congratulations Football stakeholders!!!
