It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Anthony Nwakaeme in the Saudi Arabia Pro League as his goal counted for little in Al Fayha’s 3-2 loss to Al Shabab.
Nwakaeme’s Al Fayha played away to Al Shabab and it was the host that got the first goal in the 15th minute through Boupenda.
Two quick goals from Guanca 33rd and Santi Mina 39th minute put Al Shabab in the driving seat after the first half.
An own goal from an Al Shabab defender reduced the tally for Al Fayha before Neakaeme’s 53rd-minute goal ensured a respectable 3-2 defeat.
