The hope of the Nigeria Football Federation to secure the services of the Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to represent the Super Eagles is gradually fading away.
Olise is eligible to represent 3 countries including Nigeria, Algeria and France but the player has yet to make up his mind about his international future.
The reports coming from France on Friday morning indicated that Olise is seriously considering the offer of the North African country and if things go according to plan he might likely be part of the Desert Foxes in the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The French coach Alain Giresse confirmed that Olise and Cherki may likely be in Algerian colour very soon.
“It doesn’t surprise me at all to see Michael Olise and Rayan Cherki in Algerian colours after months.
The Greens have good players and every player of Algerian origin dreams of playing for Algeria,” he said,
Olise was born in France to a Nigeria father and an Algerian mother.
