While others are still struggling with their provisional list of players, the group opponent of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Guinea-Bissau has announced their final list for the competition.
Housed in group A with Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and the host Ivory Coast, the head coach of the team Baciro Cande released the list of 25 players that will prosecute the tournament.
The biggest omission in the team was the striker of the French Ligue 2 side Caen Alexander Mendy.
Mendy who has scored 12 goals in 18 games for the French club was dropped from the team and no reason was stated for his omission.
Guinea-Bissau will face Ivory Coast in the opening game of the competition on the 13th of January before playing Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria later in the group.
