According to the update from the team camp in Abidjan, the duo of Ahmed Musa and Bright Osayi-Samuel has been ruled out due to injury.
Samuel is reported to be nursing a knee injury and is the skipper of the team and is also out injured.
Former Leicester City attacker is yet to feature for Super Eagles in Ivory Coast while Osayi-Samuel has played twice.
Super Eagles will trade tackles with the Palancas Negras on Friday to get a semi-final slot.
