Ahead of the clash against the Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba International, Moroccan giant Wydad Casablanca has departed Rabat for Nigeria.
The proposed African Football League is set to start on Friday with the opening game involving African champions Al Ahly of Egypt and Simba SC of Tanzania.
Wydad has been preparing adequately for the game with players in closed camp and new players have been brought in to replace the injured ones.
They left Rabat International Airport in the early hours of Friday en route to Nigeria and they are expected to arrive in the country later in the day.
The game is billed to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo with the reverse fixture taking place in Rabat Morocco.
