The Moroccan Botola league side Wydad Casablanca has ended the dream of the Nigeria Premier League side Enyimba International reaching the semi-final if the African Football League.
Despite suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat in the first leg game played at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the People’s Elephant entered the game with determination.
But Wydad looked a better side and they were able to take the lead in the 4th minute through Ayoub Amloud before Harkass made it 2-0 in the 38th minute.
Striker Yahya Allah sealed the game with the 3rd goal in the 44th minute and put the game beyond the Nigeria side.
Enyimba came into the second half with more determination to get a respectable result but Wydad seems to be the better team throughout the game.
Wydad will now face Esperance of Tunisia in the Semi-final of the competition.
