According to the update coming from Accra Ghana, venue of the 2023 African Games, the group of opponents of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, Tunisia has withdrawn from the games.
It will be recalled that Group B has 5 teams including Nigeria, Uganda, South Sudan, Senegal and Tunisia but the North African country has decided to opt out of the event.
Meanwhile, the Junior Cranes of Uganda have concluded an arrangement to arrive in Ghana on Monday.
The Uganda Football Federation on Monday confirmed the team departure date after the final list was released.
Uganda will confront Nigeria in the opening group match before facing South Sudan and Senegal later in the Games.
