Hours after Super Eagles’ skipper, Ahmed Musa fulfilled his #1 million monetary promise to the Olympics Eagles, he has made another promise to the Flamingos who won bronze at the just concluded U-17 World Cup in India.
Musa who have been in recent times jeering Nigerian teams especially the cadet category in international competitions promised the Flamingos #3 million for winning an heroic bronze medal in India.
Musa made this known via his comment on the Super Falcons’ Twitter handle after Nigeria defeated Germany 3-2 via Penalty shootouts.

Recall that Nigeria had to settle the unfinished business it had with the German ladies who defeated them 2-1 in the first game of the competition.
But Busayo Olowokere’s girls did payback where it mattered in the third-place finish via a Penalty shootout.
Nigeria was three goals in front till the 73rd before the Germans found respite within 27 minutes.
However, the hope for the Germans was dashed at the penalty shootout where Faith Omilana saved a point-blank spot kick to seal a 3-2 victory for the Flamingos.
As it stands, more gifts are expected to roll in for the Flamingos who have just won a title one month after the new NFF president, Ibrahim Gusau assumed office.
