In what looked evidently like his last Wimbledon appearance, former champion Andy Murray has pulled out of the competition.
His management confirmed that he went through surgery to remove a spinal cyst which compressed his nerves and made him lose a lot of energy, especially in his right leg. Even after working hard to make an appearance in this year’s tournament, it’s sad that Murray had to pull out of the tournament.
However, his management also revealed that he would play in the doubles with his brother Jamie Murray. A long shot for the former Wimbledon champion, we can only hope that Andy Murray will give us an interesting final Wimbledon appearance.
