KRC Genk of Belgium on Friday evening underlined their readiness to claim the Jupiler league title with a 4-1 spanking of the visiting Sporting Charleroi.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles attacker Paul Onuachu was the hero of the game as he netted a double brace in the encounter.
The lanky attacker opened the scoring for Genk from the penalty spot in the 9th minute before making it 2-0 in the 35th minute.
Heymans reduced the tally for the away side in the 66th minute before Onuachu completed his hat trick in the 71st minute.
The Nigeria international completed his double brace in the 95th minute and sealed maximum points for the Limburgers.
With the 4 goals scored against Charleroi Onuachu has now hit 12 goals in the ongoing season.
