Nigeria’s Super Eagles attacker Anthony Ujah has expressed his excitement after scoring twice in Eintracht Braunschweig’s win over Karlsruhe.
Ujah who left the capital club Union Berlin this summer was the hero in the game on Friday night as he helped them to a 2-1 win.
He scored the opening goal in the 44th minute before Waniztek levelled up in the 54th minute.
Ujah scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute as the host secured a maximum point.
He was excited about the outcome of the game and also praised his teammates for their effort.
“It doesn’t get any better. Compliments to the whole team, there are no goals without a team.
I’m very grateful that I scored the goals. But it’s also a lot about the work of the team, everyone has seen what it is we showed today.
We believe in ourselves, we had a team night before the game against Nuremberg, which was very important. We defend well and we go forward to score goals. Our wish is to keep the clean sheet”, he told the club media.
